New ferry for Bornholm.

The ferry Leonora Christina was handed over to its Danish owners this week, the ferry will be sailing from Ystad in Sweden to Rønne on Bornholm.

Leonora Christina is the largest Catamaran ferry ever built by the company Austral in Fremantle, Western Australia and is one of the world’s largest high speed ferries.

The ferry has a capacity to carry 1400 passengers and 357 cars with a cruise speed at 38 knot.
It will take the ferry 22 days to reach the Danish waters and should be in service by mid June 2011, just in time for the busy summer time on Bornholm.

Graceland Randers.

Elvis has left the building but his spirit is still here.
The only permanent Elvis Presley museum outside the USA opened its doors to the public on the 16th of April 2011.

The mansion is a copy of the original Graceland in Memphis and consists of a museum with about 6000 items of Elvis memorabilia, a souvenir shop, a cinema and the Highway 51 Diner.

Roskilde Festival.

The Roskilde Festival is one of the oldest and most famous festivals in the world and it’s all happening again this year the 30 of June to the 3th of July.

Here you can be entertained by:
Arctic Monkeys (UK), Mastodon (UK), M.I.A. (UK), Iron Maiden (UK), and PJ. Harvey (UK), Kings Of Leon (UK), The Strokes (UK) and a whole lot more, come to the Roskilde Festival and join in.



Palm Beach in Denmark.

No need to travel to Bali or Down Under to experience a palm beach.
Right here at Frederikshavn, they have a 400 meter long palm beach with about 100 palms.
